More Devil Kings 2: Heroes screens

The first Devil Kings had some nice concepts and a decent presentation when it debuted roughly a couple of years back. However, it was flogged in a day and age where heavyweights like God of War, Shadow of the Colossus and Devil May Cry walked the Earth, and the game paled in comparison. It just had to get its revenge.

The developers are now trumpeting Devil Kings 2: Heroes for the Wii, which they say is bigger, better and far more innovative than the initial offering. We have no problem believing that as these good-looking screens are hinting to better graphics than ever. The combat system is seemingly flashy, the character models are impeccable and we’re sure the Wiimote can only add to the fun.

The one thing that the game preserves is that smash-mouth, destroyer attitude. In the first game, we plowed through hordes of enemies as we performed dazzling attacks that often resulted in a whirlwind of blood and guts. It looks like we’ll have more of that than ever before on the Nintendo backyard.

There’s plenty more where that came from. Hit the jump and see 12 more!
