More Final Fantasy III Screens and Images
Hot on the heels of the Final Fantasy III promotional video comes more screenshots form the Nintendo DS port of the classic RPG. Now when we say “port”, we don’t just mean that they added a few new graphical scenes. The DS version of FFIII is a total overhaul of the whole game that fully uses the Nintendo DS’s capabilities. One example is that in this game, the four main characters have default names instead of being nameless generics at first, and the job system has also undergone a makeover. The starting job is now the “Freelancer” class, and Onion Knight has become a separate class.
The game is slated for release in Japan on August 24, 2006. The North American version will drop in the fall.
