More images, comparison pics of the redesigned PSP
The lucky folks over at gadget website T3 have gotten their hands on a pre-production model of the recently-announced Sony PlayStation Portable redesign. They’ve also taken pictures of the redesigned PSP as well as a few comparison pics with the original PSP.
According to T3, the redesigned PSP – referred to in some quarters as the PSPSlim, PSP Lite or PSP Slim & Lite – is 5 mm thinner and 3 mm shorter than the original. It’s also lighter thanks to a brand new UMD mechanism.
Viewed from the front, it still looks pretty much the same and still has a 4.3-inch screen. The infrared port is now gone, and the Wi-Fi switch is now on top of the unit. Check out the images below for a closer look at the new PSP.
