More on SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2

The new SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo allows the gamer to command the world’s most elite and deadly fighting corps in a wide variety of missions in all parts of the planet. As commander, the player is assisted by an AI teammate, and as in the earlier version, multiple players will be able to band together to form clans and take on other gamers.

New features include a non-linear mission progression, allowing players to choose which missions to undertake and to return to previous theatres of operation. A new persistent performance rating allows the player to track their successes and failures through a campaign, earning “Command Equity” points that can be traded for new weapons, air strikes, supplies, and “Local Influence” (the ability to access black market weapons and local intelligence).  A dynamic mission generator allows missions to be replayed with different objectives and enemies.

Additionally, enemy tactics have been improved in terms of authenticity, and a new graphics engine allows for the most realistic gaming experience yet. With over 40 “real-world” weapons available, SOCOM: USNSFB2 should keep gamers busy and happy for a long time. It will be released this fall exclusively for the PSP platform.
