The press release stated that MK vs DC already shipped 1.8 million units, and also revealed other numbers out to impress its investors. According to the PR, the game was the most pre-ordered MK title in company history, and that more than 3.6 million matches have been played online worldwide for the PS3.

I wish Midway all the best, but if they’re going to continue what they’ve done with MK vs DC, I think the tradition of M-rated Mortal Kombat games has just suffered a fatality. </3
