Namco Bandai PR on Tekken 6 PSP DLC: Yes. Oh wait. No.

Is Tekken 6 PSP getting DLC or not? According to Namco Bandai‘s Arne Cual-Pedroso, yes. But according to the same spokesperson later in the same interview, “we’re not sure.” To be sure, check out what he said after the jump.

Is Tekken 6 PSP getting DLC or not? According to Namco Bandai‘s Arne Cual-Pedroso, yes. But according to the same spokesperson later in the same interview, “we’re not sure.”

The PR manager seemed to be quite unsure as to what their official press release should be regarding the question of DLC in Tekken 6 for the PSP. In a chat with Siliconera, he was asked whether or not this will be a provided features for the handheld version. To which he replied outright, “For PSP? Yes.”

When Siliconera pointed out that that move would then make their game one of the few titles to offer DLC for the PSP, he backtracks a bit:

Actually, for the PSP downloads we are not sure. The main focus now is the high end versions. 360 and PS3 definitely have download contents.

So which is it, really? Did he just get cold feet that’s why he retracted on his initial answer? Guess we’ll have to wait till he decides which is which, or till we hear from someone who actually knows. To check out the full interview, head to the source link below.
