NASA Teams Up with HDNet

Shuttle launchNASA has teamed up with HDNet to have its shuttle launches covered until year 2010. High definition TV has at the very least twice the resolution of the standard TV format, something that NASA will be able to utilize for its shuttle launches. High definition cameras and equipment will be installed by HDNet to cover activities in NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

HDNet is equally fortunate with this partnership since it will be broadcasting live each NASA shuttle launch, which would mean bigger viewer shares. The standard broadcast signal that HDNet will provide the space agency can be used by media networks and the NASA TV.
