NaturalMotion adds Wii support to morpheme 1.2

NaturalMotion - Image 1NaturalMotion Ltd., the developers of the euphoria and endorphin 3D animation technologies, have announced that the latest version of their animation middleware morpheme – version 1.2 – now supports Nintendo’s Wii home video game console.

Morpheme, which is also available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, is an animation middleware designed to give developers and animators unprecedented creative control over the look of their final in-game animation. It allows them to author and preview blends, blend trees and transition graphs in real time.

“Support for Nintendo’s Wii console was a natural extension of the morpheme product offering,” said NaturalMotion CEO Torsten Reil. “Wii is enjoying tremendous popularity, and we believe morpheme can help developers further expand on the new gaming experiences that the platform has opened up.”
