Need for Speed Carbon (PSP): Own the City Trailer

The PSP version of Need for Speed: Carbon is a different road beast compared to its console counterparts. And this trailer proves it again with at least one point: its exclusive story mode’s told in the form of a graphic novel. Hmmm… it seems quite similar to Need for Speed Underground 2‘s story presentation – and as opposed to Most Wanted‘s live-action FMVs, or the first Underground‘s CG cutscenes. (On a side note, we wonder how the artist will depict Carbon cover girl Emmanuelle Vaugier).

The PSP-exclusive content includes a greater emphasis on team racing (compared to the consoles), the three unique play modes (Crew Tag, Escape, and Delivery), and custom soundtracks. Just like in the consoles, players will explore an open environment, and recruit drivers to crush the competition and lead them to victory in high-speed, high-adrenaline racing through city streets and treacherous canyon passes.

Oh, and another thing unique to the PSP: it’s called Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City now.
