It really is raining Launch Day goodness. The lines (and the police chasing away camping punks), the manual, the HDD, the games, the PS3… And now we have the levelup.cn (that’s China, yes) forums who have gladly unpacked their PS3 and taken some lovely centerfolds of it. But since we already have 1UP with some lovely faux-Borat centerfolds of their own, this wouldn’t be anything new, so we skipped them.

How abut pictures, then, of the retail PS3 booting up, asking for your SIXAXIS and HDMI (if you have the cable), creating your User ID, eating Genji 2 and asking for a firmware update from the disc? Yes, “To start (Genji 2), you must update (firmware) to version 1.02 or later. Do you want to update now?”
