New Assassin’s Creed game to star Ezio

The next Assassin’s Creed game will once again star Assassin’s Creed 2‘s Ezio, Ubisoft recently confirmed. Furthermore, it’ll follow the events that took place in AC2.

 

 

 

The next Assassin’s Creed game will once again star Assassin’s Creed 2‘s Ezio, Ubisoft recently confirmed. Furthermore, it’ll follow the events that took place in AC2.

 

“The game will take place with the same hero, which is Ezio, and will follow-up the story that took place in Assassin’s Creed 2,” an Ubisoft spokesperson told CVG. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot also confirmed that the game will be helmed by the same studio behind AC2 and that it will be sold at a “full price point”.

 

It’s unclear if this game will be Assassin’s Creed 3 or a spin-off ala Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, but the latter seems more probable to me personally. I was always under the impression that each main game in the series would focus on a different ancestor of Desmond Miles.
