New content for Stranglehold now available on Xbox 360

Just as Midway Games promised, the publishers of the action-packed John Woo Presents Stranglehold (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) has finally released the added multiplayer content pack for the Xbox 360 version of  the game. The update includes new multiplayer maps, skins and achievements that were recently made available on the Xbox Live. Midway also promised that the update will also be released on the PS3 soon.

If you thought you’ve seen the last of Inspector Tequila after cleaning up the Triad in John Woo Presents Stranglehold (PC, Xbox 360, PS3), then Midway Games has a little something extra for players who want to fill in the shoes of Chow Yun-Fat‘s badass persona. Midway has released a lot of extra multiplayer maps, skins, as well as some new achievements available for the Xbox 360.

The new update includes ten multiplayer maps, twenty-one character skins, and ten new achievements worth 250 points each. So far, the added content is only available on the Xbox 360, although Midway promised that it will be coming to the PlayStation 3 soon.

The multiplayer mode of the game features classic deathmatches with up to six players that even John Woo would be proud of. You can take a look at the new content for the Xbox 360 in the video we’ve provided below.
