New Info & Media On Blue Dragon

The Japanese Jump Super Tour started today, something like an equivalent to our Comic-Con. The main focus lies on Anime   
and Manga, but Videogames are getting presented as well. One game that especially stood out was Blue Dragon, the Xbox 360 RPG by Hironobu Sakaguchi‘s Mistwalker Studio.

The game’s characters are designed by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame, and the music comes from Nobuo Uematsu, who is of course remembered for his Final Fantasy soundtracks. So the game is pretty much an effort by a dream-team of Japanese RPG developers and artists. Suffice to say, we’re rather hyped about it. Some of the game’s feature include creating your own attacks, stunning graphics and vast environments.

These photos were taken at a little kiosk that was showing Blue Dragon videos – no, it was not playable (yet). However, the Jump Super Tour has only started today, and we’re pretty sure that Mistwalker will show even more Blue Dragon stuff. Of course, we’ll keep you updated!
