New IP from Codemasters is called Bodycount

The Official Xbox Magazine called it “the shooter that everybody asked for”, referring to the new IP from Codemasters teased back in February. That very game will be on the cover of the April 2010 issue of OXM, this time described as “the ultimate shooter”, is the game now known as Bodycount.

Unfortunately, the online end of OXM has taken the post down, but you can still check it out through this Google cache. The game is in development under Codemasters Guilford, with help from the guys that brought you Black, including Stuart Black.

 

Other than that, there’s no info on how exactly Bodycount will define itself in a sea of first-person shooters.
