New IRC Client – PSPirc Released!

PSPirc

Well, I personally am an IRC junkie. I prefer IRC over other ‘newer’ chat networks like MSN or AIM. And if you’re like me, you’ll sure love aserto’s newest homebrew – An IRC client for the PSP. And get this straight. It’s not just ANY IRC client. It supports a multitude of features like:

  • DDC File reception
  • Multichannel support
  • Basic IRC commands support
  • Private Message support!

And just when you thought this was awesome, check out the upcoming ‘planned’ features:

  • Improved DCC support
  • Improved CTCP support
  • Add IRC commands
  • DCC multitransfer support
  • Multiserver support

I don’t know about you guys but I can’t wait to give this awesome homebrew a try. If you’re looking for screenshots, here’s one more.

And finally, the download link. You’ll need Lua Player for this, so if you don’t have it, grab it below. Plus, if you’re using it on 2.0 or above firmwares, you’ll have to use it with Lua Player 0.16. For the people on 1.5, you should be using Lua Player 0.20.

Download: [Lua Player v0.20 for 1.5 PSPs]

Download: [PSPirc v0.1b for 2.0 PSPs]
