New Street Fighter 4 ‘watercolors’ trailer: Chun Li vs Crimson Viper

Capcom‘s upping the notch to the glamor of Street Fighter IV, and this time its newly released teaser video banks just as much into cinematic quality as did the first ever trailer of the game. This video no longer uses the Okami-esque art, but instead pits Chun Li and a new brawler, Crimson Viper, in a martial ballet backdropped by wonderful watercolors. Hit the jump to watch the trailer.

We just received word from Capcom that a new Street Fighter IV trailer was uploaded today. The trailer showcases a cinematic fight between a classic SF brawler, Chun Li, and a new brawler, Crimson Viper. This new Street Fighter IV trailer is quite the sight as it adds an interesting watercolor effect to the fight between these two characters. There is no actual gameplay footage being shown, however, the fight, art direction, and animation are well worth a peek.

Street Fighter, after nearly an 8 year hiatus, will finally see a new iteration of the game. Several classic characters will make their appearance in the game alongside several new faces, and one of these new faces is Chun Li’s opponent in the following video, Crimson Viper – a lass who’s beaming coolness in her sunglasses in this “watercolored” trailer.
