New Zelda Spin-off ‘Mogitate Tingle Bara Iro Rupee Land’ In The Works
Zelda minor character no more, Tingle has found himself a game he can call his own – Mogitate Tingle Bara Iro Rupee Land. Nintendo has confirmed that the said Zelda spin-off is currently in development for the Nintendo DS.
In the the strangely titled game (which translates to Fresh Tingle’s Rose Coloured Rupee Land), you play the role of Tingle when he was 35 years old and had yet to take on the Tingle form. Throughout the game, you will be guided by Rupeeji (“Old Man Rupee”), who tells you to collect rupees and chuck them into a magical spring. This will transport you to Rupee Land and turn into Tingle. You also get some help from Pingle, a fairy who communicates via a TV. Exploring Rupee land means you have to give out cash to local inhabitants to keep them happy, and pass through toll gates.
The game is expected to be released later this year.
