Media Molecule‘s LittleBigPlanet caused a lot of excitement when it was revealed last March 7. This platformer on the PlayStation 3 is quite unique given the fact that players can share their creations (patches) via Sony‘s PlayStation Network.

The gameplay, as seen in the GDC 2007 demo, seems simple enough for kids to learn but the puzzles can be challenging enough for more mature gamers. Your character must navigate the game’s virtual world by jumping, pushing, grabbing, running and flying through each stage to get past the puzzles. By the time you’ve finished the game, there should already be a ton of player-developed levels for you to enjoy thus extending the title’s replayability.
