We can still remember when Team Ninja‘s noted dev Tomonobu Itagaki said Ninja Gaiden 2 has no “real violence” (despite the screenshot from above). Now it won’t be long for the folks in Europe to find out what Itagaki was talking about because according to a press release, the sequel Ninja Gaiden 2 will be out in stores this June 6.

To be released across Europe for an estimated GBP 44.99, Ninja Gaiden 2 is the latest addition to the exclusive Xbox 360 library. It will mark the return of the protagonist ninja Ryu Hayabusa, intent to seek vengeance for his clan’s misfortune.

You will get to harness all of Ryu’s ninja moves and arsenal while being introduced to the auto-healing system, one of the new features you can expect for Ninja Gaiden 2. There is also a new Ninja Cinema perk where you can record Ryu’s stunts and share them as movie clips over at Xbox Live.

An online mini-game is also available over at Xbox.com, giving you more ways to have fun with your friends. Stay tuned here at QJ.NET as we bring you more updates for Ninja Gaiden 2.
