Ninpou: new batch of Ninja Gaiden Sigma screenies

Last time that we checked, we learned that Tecmo‘s latest installment to the Ninja Gaiden series, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, was already at 35% completion. So, just to show that they haven’t been slacking off within the past week, a new batch of screenshots has recently been released for the public’s enjoyment.

From the looks of everything, it’s getting pretty hard to immediately distinguish which screencaps show actual gameplay, and which ones may be from a cutscene. In any case, it has been reported that this remake of Ninja Gaiden Black (for the Xbox1) has replaced the old FMV sequences with cutscenes which use in-game graphics. Word also has it that some of these cutscenes will even be playable.

Even though there’s still no definite release date for this game, we have to admit that it’s looking better and better by the day. Let’s hope this trend keeps up.
