Nintendo 3DS price and launch date to be announced this September

Specifically, that date is on September 29th, when Nintendo is scheduled to reveal release information about their E3-revealed handheld.

 

Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter believes that the 3DS will fetch a US$ 250 price tag, in addition to more expensive software prices compared to its predecessors. The glasses-free 3D has been described to be a “more compelling experience” and has been the subject of interest for big names in the industry, which includes Hideo Kojima and Keiji Inafune.
