Nintendo of America has sent ’round a press release announcing the release date for their own first-party music game, Wii Music.
Wii Music lets players use the Wiimote and Nunchuk to control a six member band with a combination of motions and button presses. Unlike other music games it doesn’t tie itself down to just one instrument. More than 60 different instruments are available to play in this game.
Wii Music also lets players add their own twist to the game’s playable tracks. Once they’re done tweaking it to their liking, they can then send it to others via the Wii Message Board.
Wii Music launches on October 20.
