Nintendo sets Japan release date for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
If you thought you had to wait a long time before you could get your hands on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, the Japanese people have had to wait even longer – a little over a month more, to be exact. You see, Nintendo has scheduled the Japanese release date for the FPS game on March 6, 2008.
More “corrupt” details after the jump.
It’s not unheard of for English versions of Japanese games to experience delays in coming over to the Western part of the world. Sometimes, however, the reverse happens, as was the case with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, until Nintendo officially set the Japan release date for March 6, 2008.
Nintendo originally released Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Wii players in the United States, Europe and Australia in the months of August, October and November of last year, respectively. Japanese Wii owners have had to wait – and will still have to wait – a “Wii” bit longer to experience some Metroid Prime action for themselves.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption serves as the third and final main installment in Nintendo’s Metroid Prime series, which has garnered a strong following in PAL territories with each game’s release.
