Nintendo To Reveal Final Wii Details At Leipzig Games Convention?

Hordes of fans flocked to Nintendo’s booth at the San Diego Comic-Con last week hoping to get info on upcoming projects, and perhaps dig up some new info on the Wii. They may have gotten bits and pieces of info then, but of course, scraps will never be enough.

Nintendo Now spoke to an unnamed source at the Comic-Con who hinted that it would be very possible that new Wii info could be revealed at the Leipzig Games Convention to be held on August 24 to 27. Nintendo is also said to hold its own show where the Wii will once again strut its stuff before its launch.

The source also said that it’s unlikely that Nintendo would make a sudden appearance at the Tokyo Game Show. He’s quite confident that new information is more likely to come out at Leipzig. If you would recall, Nintendo has hinted that final details about the next-gen console will be revealed by or during the month of September. The source’s revelation will further spark rumors that Wii just might come sooner than what was planned.

While the source’s info makes sense, it should still be taken with a grain of salt (of course).
