NitroTracker released!

0xtob has released a new NDS application for the NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition 2006. NitroTracker is the NDS’s first (music) tracker. If you don’t know what one is, 0xtob has suggested that readers read this. This NDS tracker is very versatile tool for creating music on the go and supports XM file format which can be played on Winamp or converted to a different format. This tracker is complete, allowing you to “track” on the train, the bus, or even the airplane! The screenshots provided were just amazing and the interface was flawless with the stylus control and the ability to flip the bottom screen to the top, and vice-versa. Very good job 0xtob and good luck in the competition!

Stunning features include:

• Composing with the stylus using an on-screen keyboard
• Selecting, copying and pasting with the stylus
• Loading and saving XM modules (sorry, no effects yet)
• Loading WAV samples (any sampling rate, 8 or 16 bit)
• Recording samples with the DS’s built-in microphone!
• Viewing samples
• 16 hardware channels
• Standby mode when the DS is closed
• Support for several CF/SD-Adapters (GBA Movie Player CF, SuperCard CF, M3 CF and Neoflash MK2/MK3)
