Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus hit Aussie VC

It’s a good time to be in Australia right now. I don’t know about the weather, but I wouldn’t care because if I was there, I’d be stuck inside my room playing Ocarina of Time. Yep, the Nintendo classic title that Aussie gamers have been waiting for has finally hit the V.C. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will set gamers back 1000 Wii points, or AU$ 15 (US$ 12).

Aside from Ocarina of Time, the classic NES platformer Kid Icarus also appears on the Wii’s Virtual Console today. Kid Icarus costs 500 Wii points, or AU $7.50 (US$ 6). Even though it’s been slightly neutered, Kid Icarus is still one of the better platformers ever released. Pit, the game’s protagonist, will also be making an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl later this year, so you guys might want to use this opportunity to familiarize yourself with him.
