Outfox and outhustle rivals in Forza Motorsport 2

Talk about consistency. In all of the Forza Motorsport 2 videos that we’ve seen so far, we’ve been sufficiently impressed with what we saw. The audio is still a little below the top-tier threshold, but the graphics are solid as they are. The sense of speed and the vehicle models are nicely done. Just check out the video to see what we mean:

This video shows that racing doesn’t have to be a gentleman’s sport all the time. In fact, there are times when you have to bend the rules and cut the corners to get the checkered flag. Forza allows players to choose whether they want to race in a smooth, contact free way or take things to the hairy side with metal-bending, fender-denting hits to send rivals on literal tailspins.

Giving opponents visions of a high-octane grim reaper, however, may take some practice. The physics engine in the game is said to be among the most realistic of any four-wheel racer currently out there. That means you have to have the right skills to be an effective bad-ass on the asphalt.
