Square Enix Ltd. is happy to announced that European fans, and the others from the rest of the PAL territories, will finally get their hands on the the much-talked about Valkyrie Profile series: Lenneth for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Silmeria for the PlayStation 2 (PS2). For now, we will be focusing on Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth.

The video game has been available in North America for a couple of months now and what more can we add but it’s about time Square Enix does this. When you really think about it, it is possible that the PSP is not really lacking in good games. It’s just that publishers need to release the existing ones in more markets.

Anyway, we really had fun playing Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, if you want to know the truth. But the benefit of those who haven’t played it yet, the video game is actually based on Norse mythology. Players take on the role of Lenneth, a valkyrie sent by the All-Father Odin to Midgard to recruit worthy allies in the upcoming Ragnarok.

Good RPGs always have a twist and this video game has one as well. We won’t tell you though what exactly but it concerns the real identity of Lenneth. Anyway, we listed down the game’s other worth mentioning features below for reference. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth will be available in PAL territories on April 27.

Features:

  • Classic RPG in the palm of the hand: Experience the adventure in the living room, on the road, or outdoors
  • A heart-wrenching tale of honor, courage, and purpose in the afterlife: Follow the fallen heroes as they pursue honor in the next life
  • Time-based story progression breeds a non-linear experience where actions determine the outcome of Ragnarok: Recruit well and Valhalla is saved, recruit poorly and destruction looms
  • Encounter 24 unique characters with deep levels of customization
  • Multiple endings that are revealed based on crucial world-altering decisions
