Paradox Interactive launches Gamer’s Gate

paradox interactive logoParadox Interactive, the company that brought us the Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron series, has just announced the launching of Gamer’s Gate, their latest venture and digital distribution platform.

Some of you guys might be saying “WTF?! GamerÂ’s Gate has been in operation since April!” And you’re right. But see, back when they opened Gamer’s Gate in April, that was just a trial version to see how consumers would welcome (or reject) their download service.

Since the feedback has been all good, with quite a lot of site visits and game downloads, they’re now formally launching Gamer’s Gate. Now, this bodes well not only for the company in increasing their profit by reaching out to a larger market, but also for consumers because with a few clicks and taps of a mouse, they can now have the games they want.

Paradox Interactive predicts that digital distribution will only get bigger as time progresses, and of course, what company wouldn’t want to get in on this imminent development, right? To celebrate the launch, they will soon be adding more games to their product portfolio, as well as making the site available in 16 different languages. Just yesterday we told you guys that Meridian4 games are now downloadable, and from the looks of it, we’ll only be seeing more companies making the same move in the months to come. We’ll keep you posted for more.
