PAX 09: Twister Pixel introduces Comic Jumper

Comic Jumper is the latest offering of Twister Pixel, the same group behind ‘Splosion Man and The Maw. The hero, needless to say, is a pinhead, with a grumpy star-shaped character on his chest. Another odd duo, might I add. That means double the fun! More details and video after the jump.

Comic Jumper is the latest offering of Twister Pixel, the same group behind ‘Splosion Man and The Maw. The hero, needless to say, is a pinhead, with a grumpy star-shaped character on his chest. Another odd duo, might I add. That means double the fun!

As you will see in the accompanying gameplay trailer below, Comic Jumper is a side-scrolling action title that lets you enter various worlds of comic books – by jumping into them (hence the title, Comic Jumper) to unleash your meddlesome self as to how the comic book story would turn out. Sounds promising, yes. There’s no date set yet, nor a platform, for this title, but it would probably be safe to say this will come out on DL services (XBL, PSN, Steam) — or not. Surprise us.
