PC Advisor: Nintendo website popularity mirrors sales
PC Advisor reports that Sony‘s and Nintendo’s websites received a huge boost in traffic during the months of November and December. This is in part thanks to the launch of each companies’ next-gen consoles.
According to Martyn Williams of PC Advisor, the comparative popularity of Nintendo’s website over Sony’s has been mirrored in sales of the consoles. PC Advisor says that Nintendo has been able to supply more than 1.2 million unit of their console, a figure that they say is more than double Sony’s.
PC Advisor’s article goes on to say that Nintendo has an advantage over Sony when it comes to web access and reason that this is due to the DS Lite outselling its rival the PSP.
