A search at the database of the ratings board Pan-European Game Information will yield a new result in the form of Klonoa. This is a very good indication that the game will soon be released on the European version of the PlayStation Network.

For those not quite familiar with this game, Klonoa was developed by Namco and originally came out on PSOne. The first game was called Door to Phantomile and is one of the first platformers to feature 2D characters on a rendered 3D background.

In terms of story, the first Klonoa game revolved around the land of Phantomile which is fueled by dreams people have at night. It features the cat-like character Klonoa and the ring spirit named Huepow.

Things became exciting after a ship crash landed on one of Phantomile’s mountains. Needless to say, this ship is home to several evils that will bring disaster to the once quiet and peaceful land.

Anyway, SCEE has yet to make an official announcement regarding the release date of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Just keep checking back here at QJ.NET to know the latest regarding this.
