Vib-Ribbon NaNaOn-Sha - Image 1Those who wished for Masaya Matsuura and NaNaOn-Sha‘s Vib-Ribbon to come to the European PlayStation Network can have a piece of hope to chew on.

A game search at the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) site yields a result leading to Vib-Ribbon, with a rating of 3+. Does this PEGI rating mean that Vib-Ribbon will be coming to European PlayStation Network? We certainly do hope so.

However, a Sony spokesperson had this to say when asked about Vib-Ribbon‘s inclusion in PSN’s library of games:

As far as I’m aware there is no new version in the works. We regularly have our games rated so this may not mean it’s actually going to be released but you can always keep your fingers crossed.

For those who are not in the know, Vib-Ribbon is an original PlayStation rhythm game that gave oodles of replayabilty by letting gamers load their own music CDs, and generate new levels based on the audio tracks found in the discs.

We’ll certainly keep our fingers crossed for this one. More updates to come!
