If you’re still playing Phantasy Star Universe online on your PC or PS2, you might as well play as much of it as you can. Sega has announced that they’ll be shutting down the game’s PC and PS2 servers by the end of March.

The shutdown will be heralded by the last content update to be released on January 29th, which will also kick off the MAG+ event. After the 29th, no new subscriptions will be avaiable for purchase. Those who are still subrscribed as of that time will be able to play the game for free until the servers are turned off on March 31, 2010.

Of course, even when the servers shut down you can still enjoy the game’s single-player mode. If you really want to play online you can still switch over to the Xbox 360 version as Sega will still be supporting it. More content for the Xbox 360 version will reportedly be announced over the coming months.
