Pirates of the Burning Sea: Society Forum
Recently, the people over at Flying Lab Software Forums (which is the place to be if you’re into Pirates of the Burning Sea) concocted a brilliant idea of sorts. After being barraged by a lot of ideas and suggestions from frequent forum visitors and participants, they have added a section to the forums on the subject of Societies. A Society, for those who aren’t in the know, is their version of the typical guild found in other MMOs.
This is their way of showing support for the various societies that abound PoTBS by giving them community building resources which is a crucial portion of their development efforts. The Societies forum will give the fledgling groups a chance to recruit, build alliances and political intrigues, as well as a place for individuals to share their interest in joining or starting new Societies for Pirates of the Burning Sea.
We here at QJ already have a forum section which is somewhat similar to this. But would you want a QJ “Society” blog? Or would you want to see something else? Well, whatever you want, let us know by thinking out loud through your comments.
