PlayStation 3 Goes To Vegas

Sure the title should have said: “Vegas goes to PS3”, but that’s just not as catchy now is it? Good news for any PS3 fans who have been ogling the recently released screens for Ubisoft’s latest instalment in the Rainbow Six series known as Rainbow Six: Vegas, it looks like the game will be headed to Sony’s silver wonderbox as well. No details on gameplay have been released but vice president of marketing at Ubisoft, Tony Kee had this to say:

“Rainbow Six is back and better than ever. Building upon the online success of the Rainbow Six franchise and harnessing the power of the next-generation experience, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas will be the benchmark against which all next-generation games will be measured. With Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter being released this month to wide critical acclaim, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent also due out this year, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas makes it a perfect trifecta for the Clancy series in 2006.”

Mmmm, bonus points to Kee for appropriate use of the word trifecta. Hopefully we’ll be seeing even more of this gorgeous looking title come E3 in May. Now go look at the screens already!
