PlayStation 3’s Stranglehold to be region-coded
In case you’re among the PlayStation 3 owners awaiting word on Stranglehold (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), we’ve got some bad news. Moderator Echo77 of Midway Game’s Stranglehold forums has just explained that John Woo‘s shoot-em-up extravaganza for the PS3 will not be region free.
It appears that both the standard and collector’s edition of the game will be region-coded (PAL, NTSC). The collector’s ed Blu-Ray also carries a copy of the 1992 film “Hard-Boiled” starring Chow Yun-Fat, and is currently an exclusive for the US. In other news, it appears that Stranglehold‘s Xbox 360 and PC releases are expected to be region free.
