First off, just in case you missed it at Sony’s E3 press con, the PlayStation movie delivery service is finally heading to Canada on July 1st. So now back to the business, here’s what you can expect in the US video store update this week:

“Be sure to check out episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Hard Times of RJ Berger or stay put a little longer and relive the heated Celtics v Lakers rivalry with NBA 2010 Finals now available under New TV Arrivals on the video store. If you’re a sports fan you’ll also want to download today the MLB.TV app. The app is free on the game store under media, and this Friday through Sunday anyone with the app can stream all live MLB Games and catch up on past games for free on the PS3.”

“For more specials check out the Deal of the Week on the video store and take advantage of discounts on A-Team and Miami Vice. Also available at a discount are episodes of Glenn Martin DDS from Nick.”

“Finally, if you are looking for a thriller to watch this weekend or a hilarious comedy? Here are a few new releases that will keep you entertained all weekend long—The Book of Eli, When in Rome, and Youth in Revolt. You can also find a great compilation of Martin Scorsese films like Shutter Island and The Departed in Spotlight on Scorsese under Featured Collections.”
