Wiibrew developer comex has found an exploit on the Wii’s System Menu that could render modchips and the Twilight Hack obsolete. The hack is said to “run custom code on an un modded Wii,” and can also run Wiibrew on the 4.0 update, which contains blocks for the Twilight Hack.
Not a lot of details have been released yet. According to the YouTube description, the exploit is “just a channel on an SD card.” but a preview video has been released. (Let’s hope it’s not an elaborate April Fools’ joke.)
