Pretty: the Black Mesa mod teaser vid
Because we lack the intellect to really explain all of this, we’ll begin with just one word: “heeheehee… pretty.” At least, that’s what we’d use to sum up our feelings towards this new Black Mesa teaser that’s on YouTube.
For those who haven’t heard of it, Black Mesa is a Half-Life 2 mod that attempts to recreate the original Half-Life game using the stuff you’ll find from Valve’s HL2 and the Counter-Strike: Source game. This teaser only carries visuals however, so if you’re looking for gameplay and a re-envisioning of the G-Man, you’re definitely out of luck.
The good thing is, at least there’s a video for the mod now. You’ll need a full copy of HL2 and CS: Source to play this when it comes out though. You might as well grab one of their spiffy boxed sets for Episode 2 while you’re at it.
