Whether you want to call it Winning Eleven or Pro Evolution Soccer, Konami knows its stuff when it comes to making a soccer game that draws in the crowd. Fans of the series can now take a sneak peek of the latest iteration of the Pro Evolution Soccer series with Pro Evolution Soccer 2008‘s demo for the Xbox 360.

While the demo of the game was already in last month for the European community, local soccer fans can now experience all the hardcore European football action that the series has offered throughout the years. The demo features six fully licensed teams (Argentina, Brazil, France, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey) in a five minute match inside the International Arena in Japan. It might take a while to finish downloading though, as the game weighs in at 1.18 GB.

The actual game will feature up to 5 different soccer leagues, 34 licenced clubs and over 50 international teams. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is set to be released in Europe by October 26, while we’ll have to wait until spring of next year to get our hands on this great soccer game. The game will also be available on the PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Nintendo Wii, and DS.
