PS3 game case previews
[Note to Ed: I noticed too late that this was already covered by Karl. T_T Please just deny it so I can at least add it to my article count.]
Alright Playstation fans, especially those who are expecting their games to come in through the mail, IGN has apparently already received their PS3 games and have happily obliged the rest of the world by sharing the experience. So, take a good look at these photos that they took so that once you open that package, you’d know whether you can start jumping for joy or if you have to make a call to your retailer ASAP.
In any case, the people at IGN decided to set the Playstation 3 game cases against its relatives, the PS2 game case (I didn’t know there was a Friends PS2 game…), and the PSP UMD case. The prominent differences that the PS3 case have over the others is that besides being made of clear plastic instead of the usual black, it’s also a tad shorter. Perhaps this could be due to the fact that the PS3 no longer requires a memory card, and so the space that was reserved for memory cards on the insides of PS2 cases was no longer necessary and therefore removed.
Very pretty, really, but is it just me or does the strip on the left side of the front cover a little bit awkward? I suppose it’s something we can get used to eventually.
