PS3 pics for real?
No doubt, getting a PS3 way ahead of everyone else sure gives one bragging rights, or in this case, PS3 cam-whoring/ forum-posting rights.
Well, that’s what Haniballs just did, and of course, that has gotten everyone buzzing: “Where did he get it? Why did he get it way ahead than everybody else? Who is he? Are those real? Did he steal it? How was the console?” Of course, we can go on asking those questions, or we can take Glenn’s word on it.
Basically, he said that Haniballs is a game dev who received two PS3 units, as he lives far from game studios. According to him, he got another box that’s similar to the PS3, but uses the C7 (the cell core overclocked instruction set) and features a flash type capability, expected to be available by late 2007. Moreover, Glenn says that “there will be a full featured online gaming community right out of the gate which version 1.01a software will be included on the PS3 hard drive called ‘light brite’ bridge, which will include downloadable games demos, etc.”
