From the looks of it, the retailer is trying to sell the PS3 Slim to hesitant customers who don’t seem to have been to the rumor mill. From previous leaks that we’ve gathered, the PS3 Slim supposedly ships to Japan early July, so right now would qualify for that margin. If indeed PS3 Slims are making their way to Japan, it’s highly probable that piracy got hold of a few shipments and sent them to street markets all over.
This remains a rumor, although the picture of a PS3 Slim announcement is becoming much clearer than the blurry video we just saw. If it’s fake, then hats off to the guys who fabricated the hoax and may they find a better use of their time. But if it’s legit, we could be hearing the big announcement from Sony soon. TGS, perhaps?
