Pirates vs Ninjas - Image 1If you’re wondering what’s up with independent game maker Gamecock these days, here’s a bit of an updaye: They’ve got some major projects lined up for the Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and quite possibly the Sony PlayStation 3.

In a recent talk with GamesIndustry.biz, Gamecock CEO Mike Wilson revealed that Sony is making a bid to take one of his company’s titles under its wings. Specifically, Wilson pointed to upcoming Xbox Live Arcade release Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball.

“Sony really wants this Pirates vs Ninjas game we’re doing for Xbox Live and we’re platform agnostic so if we’re investing in a title let’s give it a chance wherever there is one,” the CEO was quoted as saying.

Also reported were plans by Gamecock to break into the European market. Last year’s Dementium: The Ward for the Nintendo DS is slated for an April release in the region to be followed by the launch of Legendary: The Box (PS3, Xbox 360, PC).
