PSP Chotto Shot website now up

Chotto Shot - make your stupid antics actually funny!

It’s never really been popular in the states, but making videos of yourself swallowing a banana has really taken off elsewhere. Taking those kinds of videos has never been easier for PSP users, with the upcoming launch of the PSP camera accessory and all. What does every new camera need, though if you really want to make the most out of your weird pictures? Some Photoshoppery, of course!

Luckily for those folks who don’t like messing with color contrasts and whatnot, Sony‘s going to make it easy for us by including Chotto Shot, their very own image and video editing software for use with the cam. If you can read Japanese, or just want to take a look at quirky Japanese teenagers going nuts with a PSP camera, then you’ll also be glad to know that the Chotto Shot website is already up and running.

The site is Japanese, but you won’t need a translator to enjoy how they show off the features. So far, it looks as if you can edit your pics by adding a border frame and messing with the colors, all of which seem like the PSP is getting some kind of arcade-sticker machine attachment to it. For video cam lovers, there’s a feature that’ll let you pixelate portions of your vid, so if you ever felt like making wholesome videos look like they were taken from an X-rated movie then you finally have the power to do so. Look out for it as it comes out on retail in November. Till then, enjoy the Japanese weirdness of the Chotto Shot website.
