PSP Ghosts n’ Goblins’ release moved up

Ghouls n Ghosts

The release of PSP title Ultimate Ghosts n’ Goblins has been moved to next week – Tuesday, August 29, instead of in the first week of September as we previously expected. The portable revamp of Capcom‘s classic title follows the trend of retro games which we all used to play and love but got bored of, coming back under a slightly different name and hitting the console charts.

Of course, the new revamp of this cult classic contains a 3D graphics engine as you would expect from a PSP title, a branching storyline, and of course more detailed characters and environments. The adventure will see hero Arthur move across five stages, (complete with those immortal bosses) in his slightly cheesy quest to save the princess. Old Ghosts n’ Goblins fans will be pleased to hear that despite the new 3D graphics engine, the gameplay remains a side-scrolling affair so it won’t differ too much from the old game you know and love.
