Now that CFW 5.03GEN-A is out, PSP homebrew dev Total_Noob has a gift for PSP-3000 owners who want to customize their PSPs a bit.

The dev’s unofficial CXMB mod for 5.03GEN-A lets you load .ctf themes on PSP-3000s and PSP-2000v3s without the risk of bricking your handheld. That said, be sure to thoroughly check the documentation included in the download Here’s the changelog for version 2:

• You can disable the theme:
1. Go to Settings->Theme settings->Theme
2. Apply the original(Sony) theme
3. Delete the Custom Theme¨
4. It reboot to the Sony theme
• Fixed the wallpaper bug
• Supported all FWs of CXMB 3.3 by Poison and 5.02
• In the zip is also a CTF_converter.exe to convert 5.00 CTF themes for this unofficial cxmb
