PSP Homebrew: XMB Screensaver v2
Earlier today, Art released his XMB Screensaver v1. Now, he’s out with v2 already! Talk about fast progress, eh? We’re not surprised, actually, seeing as how good the feedback is on this project. Read up on what’s new with this version after the jump.

Earlier today, Art released his XMB Screensaver v1. Now, he’s out with v2 already! Talk about fast progress, eh? We’re not surprised, actually, seeing as how good the feedback is on this project.
Here’s what Art has to say about this particular release:
- The screensaver timer is reset any time you:
- Press a button,
- are watching a movie with the XMB video player
- are playing music with the XMB music player
- Have an open USB mass storage connection
- are using the integrated web browser
- are using the PSP GoCam!
Now, do take not that this will render the auto suspend feature under Power Saving Settings inoperative as it kicks in before the lowest possible setting of five minutes. Also, the original Plasma demo has been altered to serve as a screensaver. It does not alter the PSP clock spee, and is not interactive (any button press will exit).
