PSP Rainbow Six: target NOT locked

For those of you eagerly awaiting to unleash those trigger-happy tendencies on your beloved handhelds, we have sad news – Rainbow Six: Vegas release date for the PSP has just been pushed back a month.

We don’t know the source of this news post over at the CVG site, but they say that instead of being deployed on November 17, the game is now scheduled for release on December 8th. Ubisoft‘s PSP version of the squad-based shooter has been met with raised eyebrows from some PSP users, who claim that the handheld’s design itself won’t be able to handle and deliver the expected graphics of Rainbow Six.

As we’ve mentioned before, the PSP version will have other features, such as different content and characters, that are not available in the PC and Xbox 360 version. But with sad news such as this coming our way, perhaps it’s best to think that Ubisoft is just trying to mold the game into something that would meet your expectations. If they’re working on developing the game’s graphics and the whole ‘back-on-the-wall’ thing that some of you have been complaining about, it might just be worth the wait, right?
